June 24th Benefit Concert

From Chris Lopez:

On June 24, there was a benefit concert at the Racine YMCA in memory of Jonathan Kwiatkowski. Eleven bands played and we raised $1,100 for the Jonathan Kwiatkowski Scholarship Fund. So I wanted to give thanks to all who helped the concert become an amazing night.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Jonathan's family for coming out and supporting and being involved. The YMCA was so kind for giving us a venue and security for free, if it wasn't for the YMCA this concert wouldn't have been able to happen.

I would also like to thank Best Buy for loaning the equipment needed to run sound for two stages. All the people that helped at the show - Kati Hamm, Matt Gobis, Jeff Boozer and Brody Kothe.

A really big thanks to all the bands that played; Gametime!, Vanishing Art, Ocellus, Hail Archer, Take The Day, Of Apollo, Maidens, Hey Rog, Emblems, Anchors Of Empires and Away With Words.

And last but not least, thanks to everyone who came out to the show and made the night truly a night to remember.

Thanks Chris! You are awesome!
